I just read an article about 45-year-old Kalia Perumal who has a vintage camera collection of over 1500 cameras!  And his lens collection is looking nice too.

Apparently he has a great variety of cameras going back to the 1800’s, and he would like to start his own museum to show them to others.  That would be fun!

You can check out the entire article here. http://www.newstrackindia.com/newsdetails/17143

And here are some links to museums with Vintage Cameras.

And if you’d like to share your own Vintage Cameras with others you could join the Vintage Camera Museum group at Flickr.

These are just a few and I welcome your comments about other places to see Vintage Cameras of all sorts.

New Polaroid Camera

I was just reading an article over at Tech Digest and discovered that the Polaroid Camera is returning.

Polaroids bring back memories of my mother taking photos at Christmas, birthdays etc when I was a child.  She still has the camera but I doubt she uses it.  She doesn’t have a digital camera yet but I think she’s saving up for one.

One thing the article mentions about the new Polaroid is that it will basically be a digital camera but have the instant printing capability.

Check out the article here and let me know if you find anymore info about the new camera anywhere.
